Accountability. The suffering of those that stayed and their made way to rescue shelters was undoubtedly caused in part by the incompetence of civilian emergency response agencies, both state and federal. FEMA has to fall off the list of scary super-omnipotent conspiracy theory organizations because they proved to be useless as fuck in establishing anything like competent Command and Control or logistics. The governor and her office behaved exactly like a doe staring into the halogen lamps of a large truck the minute that levee blew.
Accountability. Red Cross could not deploy because they have no provision whatsoever to protect themselves. We already ascertained that the gov failed at providing protection in a timely manner, but who would have guessed they would fucking have to federalize the motherfucking armed forces IN FUCKING NEW ORLEANS, LOUISIANA, USA to get flood relief in? You had people shooting at rescue personal, consistently, since Tuesday night. Where are the busses? Where are the Red Cross? Stop shooting at them you stupid motherfuckers! Where are you gonna bring those Nikes? Back to your crib? Where is your crib? Did you move yourself into some rich cunt's mansion and declare that "It was yours now?" Retarded. Where you gonna fence that jewelry? Barter Town? Hospitals became terror zones as armed men looted narcotics. Fire Department personal fired upon. The atrocities committed in the rescue shelters defy explanation. Misery exacerbated not only by municipal, state and federal incompetence but due just as much (if not much, much more) to the acts of those of fellow citizenry. Fuck those people, fuck them if they were black, white, asian, or aboriginal polynesian. I'll reserve lending dignity only to their victims, thank you. Go ahead and try to apologize for them, or for us for judging them. And yeah, my heart does go out to those poor fucking people trapped by, what amounts to, the worst people in the United States.
