Now I only played the Gamecube version, Warioware Inc., so if the gameboy game is a billion times better then fine.

About the "new" games, I read the box claim that there are hundreds of microgames. I'm seeing a ton of repeats after less than half an hour.

Once I got into it, it got boring :(

There seemed were two stages to my Warioware experience

1. Confusion not knowing what to do in a portion of the games
2. Boredom after knowing what I was supposed to do.


The multiplayer was even worse. There is no way people playing it for the first time will win against someone who has even played it once before. Before some brainstorming Mysterio makes the obvious joke, I wasn't the only first time player floundering. I was watching two first timers play two people who've played it before. Half the games were "What am I supposed to do?" or "I thought I was supposed to do something else". The first timers were always the first ones eliminated.

The first time slaughter was so great that the veterans stopped and advised that the first timers practice in single player first until they knew what to do in all the mini-games. That right there was the biggest killer flaw: the microgames are designed to keep from getting boring by only lasting five seconds and constantly changing, but in order for a fair game everyone must repeadedly play them until they're memorized, at which point they get boring.

I could only imagine the game working if four people who have never played before decide to rent it then return it when the game repeat and it gets boring, but even then it still fails the "is it a more fun 4 player game than Smash bros.?" test.

They may only last 5 seconds before changing up, but the fact is they're all still sub-atari 2600 games. I prefer Feel the Magic for a mini-game fix.
