Vice City went on to pre-sell about a billion discs. Maybe it was actually two million. Whatever it was, it was enough so that "a billion" isn't exactly crazy hyperbole, but just a little off.

I'm thinking that when earning are announced the stock is going to burst through the ceiling of all my little graphs on Ameritrade and I'm going to clean up. Because I live in a flyover state I was getting up at six in the morning every day as it got close to the earnings report to see what the stock was doing on Wall Street before going back to sleep.

As it turns out, some asshole got on TV and downgraded the stock right before earnings were announced. Because all of these fucks are replaceable and just follow one another it got the same rating from everybody. Take Two later announced that it had pre-sold two million copies at $50 a piece and I didn't make anything from the freak-out jump I was expecting because some dickwad who couldn't even spell GTA gave it the thumbs-down and a fart face for a still-to-this-day inadequately explained reason.

I later read that you are told, as a would-be "day trader" to not bother getting stocks in fields you think you might know something about. Your knowledge of assembly, whether it's MASM or pipe, doesn't mean anything.
