The 7800s are not on the supported list. Reading through the 77.77 release notes is like reading a doctoral thesis on peat moss and yields no mention of a battlefield fix.

Most of the shit google found me are the musings of retards and lunatics, but i was able to find this gem. Sadly, fucking with my video.com file got me nowhere. Looks like I am going to have to wait for NVIDIA's next patch or keep rooting around sad BF2 maniac forums. I fucking loath EA, nothing at all of use can be found on any of their sites. Every so often some asshole mentions the awesome performance of the 7800 in BF2 but on closer examination there is no mention of how the fuck they got it running, or in some cases it was the demo the benches where run on.

HL2 and Far Cry at 1600 x 1050 with everything on run like glass, the fuck is wrong with DICE?
