And that was the most fun the mod ever was starting from the Quake 2 version which was EXTRA gay right up to the very late version 3 beta which "fixed" the side rolls and double jumps and stunts and shit like that, but completely removed the fun. In comparison, the original AHL was actually entertaining, with a nice selection of weapons, a much faster respawn speed than cs, and better map design (this was a pretty long time ago). The only fixes that were needed was the fact that the players all spawned in a massive lump FOR SOME REASON, so if there wasn't any space over one player length in height above a spawn point, a whole team or both teams would end up frozen in place for eternity or until an enemy player happened by and sprayed the helpless people with bullets.
