Back when Frerotte was the QB for the Redskins, he ran a touchdown in himself. He was so happy with the feat, he headbutted the back wall of the stadium, partially breaking his neck. Every single away game that season, somebody hung a banner in the end zone that read HEY GUS HIT HEAD HERE with a target on it (he never did, though).


I had to stop making fun of Frerotte briefly after he threw for 462 yards and 5 TDs (and oops 4 INTs) against the chargers, including 3 TDs in the fourth quarter. I was really impressed. So impressed that I think this is the third time I've mentioned it here -- but what with the site getting deleted constantly you might have forgotten. That was also the one and only good game as a pro for Ryan Leaf. He had ~320 yards and 3 TDs or something. Hillariously, his team still treated him like the asshole he is even when it looked like they were going to win. Has anyone killed him yet?

Speaking of a team not ever forgiving someone . . . what the fuck is going to happen to Ricky in Miami? The entire team and the head coach are on record saying he's a giant dildo (or words to that effect). That'll be an interesting lockerroom.
