I thought LotD was a little better. The bit with the stupid girl and the dog in Dawn had no counterpart in Land, so you're not hating any of the characters. Unless you just hate John Leguizamo because he's John Leguizamo, which is fair. You have to buy that money still has value in Land, but that can be explained a hundred different ways. I can't believe Romero had difficulty getting that movie made. I think it's the best of the new wave of zombie movies - not by a lot but by enough.

Well, it gives you all the zombie mutilation (as both the provider and sufferer thereof) you'll ever need otherwise. Axes, decaps, whatever. It's about as good, I suppose. The zombie novelty has worn off for me, perhaps for you it's not. I rank it third after Dawn and 28 Days (although Dawn and 28 Days sort of tie for first; Dawn is more fun, 28 is creepier).

Oh, and I really fucking hate John Leguizamo.
