I still love this map, but there's one exploit everyone's discovered that's quickly ruining it.
Since you don't lose tickets unless the other side controlls ALL the flags, all one team has to do is hole up in the top right, blow the bridge, then park a tank there to assure that no engineers/crates repair it. Post a couple guys at the river bed to pick off swimmers. The terrorists are especially fucked if this happens since that's where all their commander buildings are.
Everyone knows about this now, and most teams immediately go for it. Once it happens, it immediately becomes a boring sniper stalemate at the bridge.
They really need to fix this. Why all the flags? I thought the entire point of losing tickets in conquest mode was to prevent this problem.
Though Karkand still kicks the asses of all the other "drive/sail 5 minutes to get to the closest flag only to get instantly killed by a helicopter" maps. |
