This happens everytime I switch to a new p2p filesharing program. After about 6-12 months, the downloads just slow to zero. All of them. All the time. Yet uploads continue on just fine. Happened with Kazaa, that WinX thing or whatever it was called, and now it happened with DC++. Up to 10 downloads at a time blazing away at 0 bytes per second, yet 15 uploads at 5-10k per second.
Just the natural lifespan of a filesharing program coming to an end (the downloading portion anyways)? Some funky setting? Me being RIPPED OFF?
Anxiously awaiting the day bittorrent gets the same huge variety.
