| Anyone have any recommendations or reasons against buying one? It will be used for games. I'm not asking what to look for in specs since I already know, I'm just wondering if anyone has any actual brand/model recommendations. I tend to be wary of reviews since they tend to nitpick and point out crazy things I'd never notice in a million years. From what I've gathered from reviews, nothing is perfectly on the level of CRT monitors yet, but I figured some people that actually use them for gaming might be able to provide some worthwhile comments on whether there's any noticeable negative difference compared to CRT monitors or whether I'd probably have to buy $10,000 in equipment and spend 9 hours running tests to find them.
Also, I remember reading about this which is supposed to improve LCD speeds. I haven't heard anything about it since then, so is anyone using it? Will they be soon? Please answer everything in a lengthy report and make me dinner and put my pants on for me. |
