I'm always up for a good running over for laughs, but it seems way too easy to do in this game, so much so that you're constantly doing it unintentionally. In the past games, a tank backing up at 3mph into you would either nudge out of the way or slowly push you backwards. Here it instantly kills you. The number of time I've accidently run over a friendly engineer trying to repair my vehicle have been numerous, as have been the times I was that engineer. Coupled with the vastly increased TK penalties, this has gotten to become a moderate problem.

Otherwise I'm enjoying the demo very much. I discovered that much of my choppy performance was actually server related, so I'm still at medium graphics and would say it's BFV level.

But how's the pixel shading? Is it everything you expected from 1.4?

Another thing that excited me was find a server that hacked the 12 minute demo limit and my graduation to the second group of weapons on one server. Some classes gain superiority on the second level, like sniping which now seems instantly .50cal viable, and the engineer with the jackhammer. This of course has the opposite effect of further ruining the game for new players, but I guess their plight is not my concern. Look for "FIRST LEVEL WEAPS ONLY" servers to appear in the future much like the CS "NO AWP/AUTOSNIPE DUST24/7" servers.

I heard that recently EA cracked down on the no time limit servers and blocked them. Has this been worked around, or was your experience prior to this (or was my source just wrong the whole time) ?

How do you unlock stuff anyways? Is it based on your accumulated scores over games? Average end of round rank? The number of games you've played? Amount of time played? Did they ever tell anyone this?
