Craig was on the show when they did jokes about things that weren't just something some senator said (AHAHAHAHAHA DID YOU SEE THAT SENATOR I SHOULD START WATCHING CSPAN), so it was more like a daily version of Weekend Update (so I liked that in 1998). Now apparently it's supposed to be like a real news show. Even people who like the show more now can't possibly really WANT to see Tim Robbins on there can they?

But even in the Craig days, those location segments were always so totally FAKE.

Also! I thought it was sort of funny (in a "I'm not really laughing but that's funny I GUESS ~_~" way) that when Craig was on the show, for every celebrity interview, their movie clip would always be the flattest ineffective boring clip they could show.
