My new hard drive doesn't work. (EMERGENCY) by Creexul :( 06/01/2005, 7:25pm PDT I plugged it in and all that, so the only problem is that it doesn't autodetect, or manual detect or anything detect, it just doesn't show up anywhere. The only clue as to why this could possibly be happening is that my CDROM drives are showing up as the primary master and slave, and my old hard drive is showing up as secondary master. There's a space for secondary slave, and it's blank, but that really is where my new hard drive should be. I even tried setting the jumpers in a bunch of ways, unless there's some secret jumper setting.
