| If your team moves that's it, you're free to do whatever the hell you want, including hate the NFL forever. But I have never seen a situation where one's team moves closer to you than they ever were before. If the Saints moved to LA then fuck 'em (and the one thing Saint fan has been telling himself through all this is that LA would welcome having the #1 and #2 worst teams ever in the history of American professional sports together in the same city as much as they would a busfull of AIDS) but man, if they moved to Albuquerque... fuck, that's only six hours. A little more than five if I leave Friday night from work.
I know the thought of an NFL team moving to an even smaller market won't happen -- this isn't the NHL here -- but still, it makes you think. I mean, I really fucking love 7-9, 8-8 football. the dark and gritty...Ice Cream Jonsey! (If somewhere in that article they say that Rice narrowed his choices down to Denver and NO then please forgive my lack of reading comprehension. Signing Rice for a single year would make sense which is why I am presuming the Saints aren't involved.) |
