What's a good job for a photoshop faggot like myself? by Roop Dirump 09/03/2003, 11:58am PDT Photoshop for the last ten years, bah I knew the medium was dying when I got into the field. Retouching, fucking on the way out, how I managed to retouch for Playboy because the real guy quit and moved to Arizona, considered his field finished. So then I make it my freaking career. Last two years have been fucked for professional photographers for some reason, Photo Marketing Association called it the worst time in decades. I used to contract for labs, but now the breaking point has been reached and home printers are as good as anything a prolab can produce, except for bigass prints. Besides my dried up and dead contacts, the big lab wants to hire me -temp- no insurance, for a couple months, for $7 an hour. Unbelievable. That's like a %2000 paycut. I told them to fuck off. Burger King pays more, WITH insurance WITH job security, at least implied. So now I'm fucked. I have a month left, then I die. I feel so much liike K. Thor once did, only I can't try some freeloading tour because if I'd try it I'd get shot on somebody's front lawn, and he finally found a job. Maybe I could apply to some school somewhere and get a loan out of it somehow. Why the fuck did I get an english degree? Fuck, nobody gives laons to people with english degrees. It's all coming back to fuck me, all of it has finally reached it's apex in my anus. God, some ad agency, I'm going to end up at some fucking casual friday fucking ad agency. Roop
