You dont like hitting the X button repeatedly? Sounds like you dont like action games period. But I wouldnt even call DMC that, you're hitting different buttons to do different stuff constantly. I also thought it was easy to start doing simple gun and sword attacks at the beginning, then learning the more complicated stuff like launching them into the air and juggling.

Rhythm like how? Like DDR with a controller instead or what? I think the closest I could get to that was Rez, which I liked a lot for a while.

Rhythm as in Parappa the Rapper. Song plays, and you and an opponent wail on electric guitars to shoot lightning and each other. The better you play, the more damage you do. Why the hell hasnt anyone thought of this before?

I bought SH2 for my xbox, due to the general scarcity of games for the platform back then (and now :( ), and I really didn't enjoy it that much. Fatal Frame I have, but I get kind of frustrated with the shitty play control and the fact that it seems I basically memorize where ghosts pop up, and then go back to the saved game in order to have any chance of passing.

Fatal Frame had shitty play control? Sounds like you dont like survival horror games period. The Resident Evil control scheme, while being pretty lame, is pretty much the standard for the genre, Silent Hill included. It's also not like the ghosts kill you by just getting the drop on you, they're freaky and not pushovers, but they certainly dont surprise you with their entrances.

Bought it and beat it, on your recommendation and with help from you and curst. I liked it a lot, but I can't think of much else to do with it once I beat it with all four story characters and survived as many fights as I could stand.

Yeah, not exactly unlimited replay. Btw, last week I got to the 3 man fight for the first time and beat it the first try. I had curst's advice to follow, but still, didnt seem that difficult. Very unfun though.

I think I got it for like that much a few months ago, but I have yet to sum up the energy to get much farther than the princess. I like it, but it is one of those games, like Fatal Frame, that seem to drain me of energy when I play them.

Drains you of energy? Sounds like you don't like games period. I dunno.
