It's a good Idea to format your drive NTFS for a lot of reasons but remember that if you dual-boot with Win98, Win98 will not be able to mount NTFS.
Remember: Both partitioning your drive (even with the excellent Partition Magic) and converting from FAT32 to NTFS are volatile. If you indeed mirrored your old drive, the good news is you have a backup on hand. So have at it. |
