| Someone linked to my review months ago on the Looking Glass boards (twice in a few months I think). Too lazy to dig up the link. You could probably find it if you looked at all the archived thread titles in their SS2 forums. A lot of people seemed pretty reasonable: about a third agreed with the flaws I pointed out but still like the game, another third disagreed but still liked the review, then the other third called out for Jihad.
I liked that one thread someone linked to in the underdogs forum. Some guy hated the game and couldnt see what all the fuss was about, so he linked to my review and posted several good points about why the game wasnt good which opened up a floodgate of retarded, the most intelligent reply of which was "you're not playing it right! Go back to Quake!". For a supposed smarty man game, it's funny how none of the haters are half as retarded as some of the people defending it. |
