GamingNEXT - With the outstanding graphics that HL2 is using, what should gamers have, minimally, to run this game?

Gabe Newell - An 800 MHz P-III and a DX6 level hardware accelerator (e.g. TNT).


You'd better start shopping for a new rig. I don't know if Dell is selling computers that can handle those requirements, but Alienware might.

BTW, valve is planning full client support for AMD 64bit processors on HL2's release.. which sounds very awesome.
