| If you get dragged to only one movie by a younger relative this year, make it this one. Sure, it has the requisite aww moments for soccer moms to get misty over, but aside from some spectacular animation it is genuinely entertaining. Plus from what I hear it got large numbers of children to flush their fish down the toilet in the belief created by the movie that toilets are a direct escape hatch "home" for them, leading a sewage processing company to issue a press release declaring that in real life the movie would be entitled "Grinding Nemo". Which is funny, since kids that are cursed with fish as pets probably deserved to be branded as killers early on. | ||||
