The Punisher dude, also known as the implaceable dude from so many movies (also starring as Travolta's gay main henchman is another implaceable dude from so many movies before that), ties John Travolta's spasming gunshot body to the rear bumper of a car, slaps a bomb on it, then sets it to drive into a parking lot where he placed other bombs on cars to explode so the fire would shape the Punisher logo. Then Travolta's legs catch fire from the other exploding cars, and then his car finally explodes, which actually puts out the flames on his legs and seems to leave him unscathed. And I was like, "well he could probably survive that, especially now." Then he gets dragged through the flaming gasoline and stuff, and I was like, "okay, that will probably leave him a little disfigured." Then the hood fell on him. That would do it. :(
That was a weird movie, even for a comic book one. But hey, the wacky neighbors sure were funny.
Also, The Frighteners (which is great) was on USA, and holy god did they butcher it. They cut out tons of random scenes, including the entire "piss on your hushpuppies" conspiracy scene with Weyoun from Deep Space 9. :(
Also I rented American Pie 2 because I've never seen it before, ever. Are people outside my Silent Hill 4-esque room really like this? Is this how people live in the real world? |
