| Installing directX9 from the disc does not help.
Tried installing that Managed DirectX 0900 from the disc and got "The installer has encountered an unexpected error installing this package. This may indicate a problem with this package. The error code is 2908." and "an error ocurred during the installation of assembly component {D84FE9C4-ECFA-4986-9477-E59BD7311DA7}. HRESULT: -2147319761." One of those error threads a microsoft guy said to clean the CD, the CD rom drive. run scandisk and defrag. SORRY SIR I ALREADY GOT THIS "IT'S YOUR COMPUTER THAT'S THE PROBLEM" BS FROM EA OVER C&C: GENERALS! When EVERY other game works fine with my cd-drive, the problem is YOUR GAME. |
