Just some suggestions. Not really sure how many people have played through Thief 1, but unlike Thief 2 it's an incredible story and experience start to finish, despite how crudely polygonal the characters are.


Funnily enough, Sacrifice is a game I actually have not yet played.

What is your take on the zombies in Thief 1? For me, they spoiled the game. I found myself doing a level skip when heard more than a few of them start to groan. When I played Thief, it was going up against a good fifteen years of D&D where the "zombie" was a disposable clownshoe of an enemy and probably just as long a time in video games where it was treated the same. I could never get over how tough they were in Thief. I give the game strong points for making them as relentless as they appeared in Romero's flicks, but still.

My Marathon engine adventures are limited to ZPC. Every weapon kind of sucked in ZPC except for his chi punch, though. I have intentionally avoided playing Counter-Strike, but I probably should before I make sweeping statements like the one earlier.
