Shock 2 was released years ago...so I would say it's a pretty safe assumption that most people have already formulated their opinions.

Equally pointless then is turning into a retarded Hulk whenever you see a negative review of it. What's the point? Everyone already knows this is TEH BEST GAME EVAR!

It seems to me that you have personal issues with this game, which is probably what prompted you to write a review about it almost 4 years after the fact.

You must be this game's secret lover, which is probably what prompted you to defend it.

Do me a favor...stick to games that a simple minded person such as yourself can understand. And hey! Since you enjoy writing reviews for games that are way past their time; why not throw up something for Doom, Quake, and Duke3D? Surely your lack of intelligence won't hurt you there...I mean hell, all you have to do is shoot everything that moves...you can handle that, right?

Ah ha, the ol' Emperor's New Clothes defense: only smart people can appreciate this game, therefore it is the greatest thing ever (to me) and everyone who hates it is a Quake loving moron. Did you read the review? Because you certainly must not have read the part where I complained the game was too much like Quake with the ambience-killing respawning/teleporting enemies. When you boil it down, SS2 is essentially running around beating things with a wrench, which eventually defeats the scary atmosphere, the ambience, and any feeling that this game is exclusively for geniuses to enjoy. I guess adventure games really didn't die, they just got absorbed into other genres, along with their snooty elitist fans. Are all SS2 fans like you? When I looked through the looking glass forums a few of them seemed pretty reasonable. You're right up there with that guy who said I was worse than Saddam and needed to be JRAM'd.

TOO LATE! Guess you should have mentioned that in the beginning. Could you teach me how to write better? I'm guessing from this gem that I could learn a lot. We can't all produce the same wonderful prose that genius SS2 english majors crank out in their sleep inbetween wrench beatings.
