I didn't finish the article, but the stuff about SENSE was fascinating. It reminds me that I bought a game (and haven't even installed it yet) called Superpower. It's apparently a hyper-realistic simulation of the world in 1997 that allows you to take control of almost any nation on Earth and do whatever you want with it. I've been meaning to try it out, maybe run the Iraq war and see how it goes in that game. The most interesting part would be the AI's reaction to invading a country for (arguably) very little cause. But that's for the Hammer Time forum, I guess. |
