| So, as an urban renewal strategy, blighted-as-fuck cities like Detroit are courting the gay community to move into their downtown areas. Reason: Gays are generally clean, nonviolent, have a strong sense of community/civic pride and they spend a lot of money on nightlife to help facilitate the assfucking that they so deperately need. Cities have been watching New York and San Fransisco's cheap areas turn into gay districts and then as if by fairy magic the property values go through the roof. Everybody wins.
So... it seems like the best way to court the gay community would be via affording them the same rights as heteros. Is Canada trying to steal our best-dressed and most artistically talented citizens? FoK |
