| i just wanted to say, that i was very disappointed that right in the middle of our discussions on
feminism, Chet and Erik shut down the old man murray boards forever, so that they could pursue their careers pimping suicidegirls.com porn websites. and while on the one hand, i was at first curious as to whether this 'erotic art' site could break new ground and be non horrible romantic imagery, in fact i conclude that they are in general recruited by a few nerd males who run the site and make the money, and nobody really thinks much of the customers, and probably shouldnt. and this is the same attitude seanbaby chet and erik had towarsd their fans, and probably the same attitude kurt cobain and sonic youth had towards some of theirs in the mid 90s. the answer of course, was not to blow ones brains out, but to stop selling yourself out unncessarily. yes it gives you more money. but you also lose your peace of mind. and if you dont have that, you dont have aynthing. |
