Nice message boards. Some posts are in "2 REPLIES TO THIS" and some are right below the post and then some are in completely seperate links. Apparently it's some kind of complex thread collapsing randomizing script.

Slashcode is the original over-engineered hyper-moderated forum script. By default, it only shows the full text for comments rated over 4. Rating 1+ gets an individual link, and 0 or -1 gets put in the "2 replies beneath your threshold" link.

If you create a user account, you can change all the defaults. More importantly, you can block all the insipid Star Wars and Anime articles.

So people actually vote for everyone else's posts? They actually do that?

I DON'T WANT TO SAY TOO MUCH ABOUT SLASHDORT THOUGH BECAUSE THEN ALL OUR COMPUTERS WILL BE DESTROYED BY ANGRY READERS

They don't just vote, they vote on the voting (meta-moderation). No joke. NT by Senor Barborito 05/18/2003, 10:11pm PDT NEW
