Not only killing your children, but ***gasp*** humiliating your family.

Any culture where these two acts carry anywhere near the same moral weight is a culture the rest of the world can't reasonably be expected to tolerate indefinitely.

Especially when the opening statement you cite is followed by:
To launch suicide attacks against civilians who have come to your country at the invitation of its government to serve the country and train its people is terrorism, plain and simple. There is no difference between murdering people and taking your own life. Both are criminal acts that must be condemned.

Obviously, reason has no place whatsoever. Time to bomb [despotic arab regime of choice]. It would be a mercy killing. Imagine what domestic politics are like for these folks...I was initially biased slightly in favour of Islam (a long time ago) due to my overwhelmingly positive experiences in Turkey, but Turks then seemed to have little in common with Arabs now. Alas, it seems the difference is closing rapidly...

I always looked at it like this: the Palestinians need to fight the Israelis somehow, because it's clear their situation has degraded to use of force. Due to the overwhelming might of the IDI, they really don't have any means save explosives on their backs.

Thus, it's just fighting the only way they can. Of course, the question then becomes - could they select military targets instead? It's hard to say without being there, to judge when you're not in their circumstances - I read the email of that American protestor killed by the IDI bulldozer back when, and the disgust she shows for IDI snipers randomly shooting at civilians in neighborhoods they deem too close to Israel certainly pours through. The phrase 'tit for tat' comes to mind.

Is it possible to overwhelm the Israeli military with bombers? Or to even approach them? I can't say without being there, and so I'm not in a position to judge whether it's really and truly terrorism or simply fighting tooth-and-nail and stooping only as low as your enemy will, which I don't see any problem with.

On the offhand - you'll note that the author is solidly against 9/11 with his second statement. The US came to Saudi Arabia with the blessings of the local government to protect said nation and train its armies. Then we got our towers knocked over. Fits his definition perfectly.
