The USSS has always had the right to suspend a suspects rights. This is old news. My local cops are 100% more terrifying to suspects and have no such rights, law enforcement is not pretty. The DEA has been shitting into the bill of rights since Ron could still toss one into Nancy, those fuckers are insanely over the top and their exploits seldom portend the end of American liberty.

Every US citizen that posts here has (most likely, this is the internet and some of you are fucking psychotics) been able to say whatever the fuck they want their entire lives without getting a visit from The Man.

Almost everything you read of this nature should be scrutinized carefully when you hear it's from within 20 miles of Berkley. The Bay Area (Oakland is just across the bridge from San Francisco, in case you didn't know foog) is not only one of the smartest and prettiest places in the states, it's sadly also where the fucking flotsam and jetsam of the post 60's malcontents set up political shop. Some of our best and worst thinking comes out of there. (I lived in a corporate condo in Pacific Heights for 16 months, yes it rocked.)
