I could very well be going nuts; this almost seems like a different blogger OMIGODCONSPIRACY. Writing without the stench of sweaty, bearded thugs or missile blasts surrounding your home probably has its benefits, but there's a distinct contrast between these updates and earlier additions, or even the 'pblog' proxied on 22/3. Where is Raed has always been an interesting source of whatever, but even Erik-approved James fucking Lileks has cast doubts over Salam's authenticity, which I'm inclined to doubt until it's linked from Amber4Ever, or Creexul's site.

Salem has revealed his real name to another prominent blogger, for one, so ultimately it's all verifiable

Secondly, he has sent a package to said person from Iraq.

Thirdly, another person entirely got him to visit a private page on the web and the logs were of an IP that traces back to Iraq.

It's not 100% guaranteed he isn't an elaborate hoax, but I'd be very surprised to learn that's the case.
