You were confounded by my Gyuto monk-like abilty to produce a chord of possibility in a single NT. You see, I wasn't sure what exactly you meant by "shoot", so I layered my response. Really, though, you shouldn't need to ask - you're IMing yourself in your one-man-zipcode nowhere in Canada. I can visualize you doing this in a tower much easier than a brick bungalow. All three of your suppositions could be accurate in this case - the shooting at nobody off the top of your tower in particular has a certain symmetry.
