Every Islamist Terrorist attack against US interests save 9/11 and the '93 WTC bombings were against military or government facilities OUTSIDE the US. Terrorists have a precedent of attacking these targets over going to the extended effort of a 9/11 (which took ten years to implement, BTW). With more troops out there distracting Hosni Mubarak's supposed 100 Osama Bin Ladens, I'm quite a bit less concerned about attacks here.
