But the C64 seperate video is in no way comparable to S-video, which has a vastly higher functional line count. The signal is shitty enough to begin with without further degradation from a Y connector. While I realize this is splitting a ancient, petrified hair pretty thin, C64's were prone to enough artifacting as to make the search for a cable that will not cost more than $5 worth it.
Allthough, better still, just download one of the many C64 emulators and dig out an old 5.25 floppy drive. |
