Imagine, if you will, a DDR tournament. There's two people on the pads, tripping along at a a million beats per minute, hitting every double-step coming at them on every beat and half-beat. Once you get good enough at DDR, you can look halfway dignified doing it, but at this level it's nothing more more than a wild, spasmotic flailing of two people who have spent thousands of hours training themselves to become an overqualified stimulus/response machine.

And then, beside them, you see two other people flailing in lockstep. They're not on a pad, no. They're not playing, they're warming up.

So play. Play if you must. But I will have you know that down that road lies madness.
