| Foil fencing isn't anything like being a Knight, Samurai, or Highlander.
I took a class in college and there were a load of idiots who wanted to use sabers it makes them more like Sir Duncan Mccloud-sama, faggots who swing the foil like it's a movie, one idiot who had a stance like a queer Jedi not Luke or Kenobi but one of the yellow off species Jedi that are added just to have a "quick fighter" in a beat 'em up, and there was some idiot who wouldn't even go for touches he'd just smack people with the foil because he was a spaz. Yes, anything with swords attracts fags, but fags aren't the only people who do things with swords. Though, I think people who pay for their equipment, join a league, and regularly Fence just like the sport. |
