Watching the whole thing go by, which was quite fun, it seems the green is what's causing the problems, both the current yellow and the purple looked fruity beside it. The pale yellow had merit I think, if the green was changed to something that worked with it.

I'd like to see that bright white (maybe pale yellow) on the 'New!' tag (beating a dead horse).
