This show is on Cartoon Network at like 11:30 Saturday night. I see a couple of episodes and it's good and I figure I'll just buy the box set because I hate commercials and for all I know there's culturally important underage nudity and swearing I'll miss out on otherwise. There isn't, it's the same content exactly.
Anyway, the box set isn't the first season. It's the first disc of the first season. The second disc comes out in May. The first one was like $50, because it comes with a t-shirt and stuffed toy and some other stuff, in a hex-shaped lunchbox that looks like it was designed for optimized-space sushi storage. It'll hold like 20 orders of spicy tuna roll or one giant ichi-roll with room for a Capri-Sun.
The second DVD is $40. It better not have a stuffed animal in it. I'll pay amazon an extra ten if they have one of their day laborers open the box, throw out the collectible postcards and shit, and just mail me the dvd in a fucking manila envelope.
I'm just pointing out that you can see the whole thing for free on TV now and then if you like it, wait until like November when you can buy the whole season in a box for $70.
The game was recommended to me so I got that but I haven't played it yet. I got Xenosaga, Breath of Fire DQ, .hack//Infection, and Dark Cloud 2...in one oversized shrink-wrapped package from amazon. When are they going to learn to pack things? Given the response over at Qt3 forums, I'm thinking Dark Cloud 2 first and the rest can wait.
