I interpretted that ending to just mean that humans just abandoned the cold, cruel nature of technology and abandoned Midgar to live more in harmony with the planet, or some hippy shit like that.
Was I the only one to think (or care enough) to wonder what Red XIII was doing there 500 years in the future? The game mentions at one point that he's 40 years old, and that that's fifteen in sentient red lion years. Doing the math a 500 year old Red would be about 187 in human years. WHY IS HE STILL ALIVE? |
