It might be worth thinking about before the dam breaks.

How long has it been since TNC has been funny? Long before OMM shut down IMO. Personally, I'd like to see a lot of the OMM-referentiality done away with here. TNC was funny when it first reared its pulsating ebony head, when it was a staple of OMM posts, when it was used to make fun of Shnibble. It isn't anymore. I was seriously considering cutting it and any overly-inside-jokey reference from our existing content, and discouraging its use in the future. We want to be funny, we aren't going to be making jokes only we get. It isn't FREEDOM OF SPEECH DON'T LET DA MAN SUPPRESS US, it's using old humor that no longer has context. "Ator? Well, heehee, see he's this dude from OMM yeahthatsitesdownbutwaitaminute who..." Ugh. Fine enough for the forums, bad for the content. Barring marked objections to the authors, I would like to see stuff like that removed and withheld in the future from our content.
