Weird, like Jay and The Americans with Nelson Riddle's incompetent assistant doing the arrangement in the afterhours. Or, put another way, like a Sinatra record minus any kind of tastefulness. Not that that's necessarily negative. And I totally see why they say that Bowie drew vocal influence. Listen to this and then to "Changes."
On the scale of RatPacketry I give it 2 Franks out of 5 - which is better than Joey Bishop but worse than Tony Bennett. Come on - this guy's got no balls.
