Thats the thing; I'm actually pretty good at the MIS stuff. Good enough to turn Professors' heads when I say I'm considering HRIS. My reasons for considering HRIS over MIS are spelled out in previous posts, plus having the CEO of Towers Perrin (Big Management/HR Consultintg Firm) as an Alum kinda helps with the job opportunities.

I doubt anyone here has actually worked in HRIS, but has anyone worked in MIS as a Manager or Consultant?
