| The premise: One episode covering one week of World War II in real time. The crew are all trained historians, and the main host, Indy, is also a professional actor.
The same team did WW1 week by week first - so by the time they started on WW2 they had the process pretty well dialed. But even then they get better as the years progress (and the budgets increase) Originally they released them on the same week of the war 70 years later, but the whole series is now available. I’d recommend watching them once a week still tho, because it gives you a great feel for how the war progressed.
