File yet another under the "good gameplay, shit production values" category:
It's an aggressively streamlined space 4X that plays out in less than an hour.
You and your opponents are painting the hexmap of space with various stations, but they only function if within the logistical supply radius of a colonized planet. Get your ship over a station within supply range and it's yours.
The cool thing is unlocked techs need to physically occupy slots in research stations, so instead of rolling dice on an espionage action, if you can get a ship onto an enemy research station, you not only yoink the tech but they lose access to it!
Everything builds instantly, resources willing, but don't become active until the next round. Any ship can colonize a planet, but gets sacrificed in the process, so weak scout ships remain useful.
There's also a decent amount of positional tactics with the ship combat.
