This guy constantly shows up in my recommendations, and I swear I said don't recommend this channel before.
Right away you're hit with his anti-appeal. The awful face, beard, and sweater collection that make him a shoe-in for Lindybeige's failson. His whiny delivery as he smarmily holds an oversized desktop mic right up to his head. That fucking mic. Like the worst Qt3 posters, he found a "thing" and now that's his "thing".
He does the kind of social/political/media longform video essays you might find with Hbomberguy or Dan Olsen or Jenny Nicholson, but I don't think I've ever seen a more basic bitch observation offering before.
His video on Nick Fuentes follows the same formula of his videos. No kind of deep dive. He just takes a few clips of the most readily available sources: Nick's Rumble stream, and a Piers Morgan plus Glen Greenwald interview. These take up the first 40 minutes of his video and I couldn't watch any more after that. He plays the clips, and his own contributions never rise above rewording what we just or are about to watch, while tossing in "so THAT just happened!" comments. "Nick is a white nationalist" *plays clip of Nick calling himself a white nationalist*. "Nick doesn't think women should vote." *clip of Nick saying women shouldn't vote*. "Piers corrects his statistic on black crime" *Piers corrects his statistic on black crime*.
It just goes on and on like that. Joel's videos offer no additional value to just watching the source material. Less value if you consider how much he pads it out with his filler commentary. And again it's not like at least he's digging up some hard to find stuff that took research to find. It's the most widely available clips of the subject. If he did an Elon Musk video, it would probably just be a couple Tesla product announcement clips and an appearance on Good Morning America.
This is nothing that any average "We should totally do a podcast!" shmuck couldn't do.
