Is it a great game? No. It's a bit clunky, some buggy NPC movement, animation is terrible, and for the life of me I could never get a handle on weapon bindings or the cycle order. The humor is corny, but it knows what it is and isn't taking itself seriously even as comedy. There are boss fights and they're all terrible. The game does not, under any circumstances, want you to run out of ammo, so levels are jam-packed with ammunition to the point that it may as well have just given you infinite ammo for most weapons. But the entire thing was made by one guy and is free, so you get what you pay for.
If it had cost money, I'd say pass just because there's much better games even if it's a one-man project. Since it's free, hey, why not. If you want a free throwback shooter that's about killing Nazis, collecting loot, and finding secrets, here you go. It introduces one new enemy about every level to keep things fresh. I played on Normal or Medium or whatever the default was, and it wasn't too difficult. It's a decent game for what it is, surprisingly bug-free and well-designed instead of just bottom rate crapware on Steam thrown up for memez. With more polish it'd be worth $5 or so.
