Me: How's it going? How was karoake
My friend: Me and (another guy) tag teamed (karaoke friend 1) while (karaoke friend 2) filmed, more at 11
Me: (karaoke friend 1) said she was sick and stayed home *skeptical eye narrowing*
Me: Was she actually there?
My friend: No, she wasn't there
Me: So like, how was karaoke then lol
My friend: Like... People sang, (karaoke lady) was there, I dunno what you want
Me: Ok nevermind then, sheesh
Me: Some people might say, I saw so and so, or comment on how many people were there, or whether anything interesting happened. I guess not though for the last one

then I changed the subject and asked about his laptop and whether I should upgrade to windows 11

My friend: (quoting my above comment) Cool, way to be a dick.
Me: Ok if you say so. :(
My friend: Passive aggressive commentary on my view of the night is pretty dickish
MY friend: 'Other people would say ' like, when does that get nice or polite?
My friend: I'm your friend, stop being a dick about stupid stuff
Me: Literally not being passive aggressive, that's in reply to your implied question, "I don't know what you want". Please stop, I'm NOT being a dick
Me: Your view of the night was not in evidence, that's why I asked again! OMG
Me: I literally still have no idea what your view of the night was beyond "people sang"
Me: "I dunno what you want" in reply to "how was karaoke" is kindof the dick move here btw.
Me: But good god, whatever, I asked some other questions there if you'd like to just move on with our lives
