| The original OMM forums were nearly a free-for-all, but Chet made it clear he had zero tolerance for two specific types of posts:
1. Telling someone they weren't funny. 2. Telling someone to stop posting. The signal-to-noise ratio in the main forums would immediately improve by about 50% if these types of posts were removed. Perhaps more importantly, the place would feel a lot more friendly to new posters. |
