When I saw it in college, I thought, "well, I guess they wanted to make a new fancy Enterprise for the movies or something". Have I already complained about this? Anyway, then I saw (I think on Drex Files) a picture of a Galaxy class model with NCC 1701-E on it. This was a HOLY SHIT moment for me. There really was NO POINT at all. Unreal :(
ST:V has the bad movie charm of a terrible vanity project. I will never watch it again but I know some people like it. I love Bill but if you ask him to write a story about Kirk, you'll get hot garbage. Like that Unification thing. ALSO: there's already a TNG episode with that name so did the people making this even watch the show? |
