Turn based Plants vs Zombies?
Roguelike where monsters advance in 3 rows towards your 4 heroes. You have 1 hero in each row, and 1 in the back. Swap positions of 2 heroes to advance a turn. Each hero then executes their normal attack, the one in back heals, and any hero that was moved from the back to a row fires off their special attack.
Deceptively simple system I could see some real depth for. Each monster has different attacks and weaknesses. Juggle swapping heroes so their attack matches the right monster weakness, heal up the wounded, or send someone to the back just so you can have their special attack waiting next turn. Some upgrades and items get thrown in the mix.
